Castle Fields
Castle Fields have been used for centuries by the population of Berkhamsted and surrounding areas, as a place to walk, relax and get safely and enjoyably from the centre of Berkhamsted to Ashridge park and beyond.
Sadly, very recently the fields have been fenced off which is not only a blot on the landscape but has restricted people to very narrow corridors and has cut off the paths that have been used by untold numbers of people over decades and even centuries.
We have come together in the community to try to re-establish these footpaths and to have the fences removed so that once again the fields can be enjoyed responsibly for many years to come.
